MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 46 $1.5K Bounty

Seven Minnesota poker players cashed in Event 46 the $1,500 Bounty No-Limit Hold'em tournament. Ben Marsh advanced the furthest finishing in 28th place.  Everett Carlton earned his seventh cash of the series while Jonathan Hanner earned his second.

The total earnings made by Minnesota player over the course of the series has broken the $1 million mark.  Earnings now stand at $1,011,490.

MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 44 $1K NLHE

Four Minnesotans cashed in Event 44 the $1,000 No-Limit Hold'em tournament.  William Criego of Prior Lake finish at the top for MN at 11th place.  This marks John Marlowe's sixth cash of the series and Jarod Ludemann's third.

Minnesota series earnings now at $987,032, approaching the $1 million mark.

MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 41 $1.5K Monster Stack

Thirteen lucky (and skillful of course) Minnesotans cashed in Event 41 the $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em tournament.  Jacob Bernhardson of Duluth finshed leader of the pack at 89th place.  Everett Carlton earned his sixth cash of the series.  Jared Koppel and Gennady Shimelfarb each earned their fourth cash. Joseph Barnard and William Perpich cashed for the third time while Jeffry Schnettler made it into the money for the second time this series.

Total earnings for Minnesotans in the 2016 WSOP has jumped to $956,863.

MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 40 $2.5K Mixed Triple Draw

Anthony Lazar of Maple Grove bubbled the official final table of Event 40 the $2,500 Mixed Triple Draw Lowball (Limit) tournament.  The event had three lowball variants: ace-to-five, deuce-to-seven and badugi.  This was Lazar's second cash of the series.

MN series earning just shy of $900K at $897,069.

Four Minnesotans cashed in Event 39 the $10,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em tournament.  Eric Worre of Eden Prairie bubbled the final table, finishing in seventh place.  Carl Carodenuto earned his third cash.

Kou Vang and Ryan LaPlante cashed in Event 35 the $5,000 Six-Handed No-Limit Hold'em tournament.  This is Vang's second cash of the series.  While LaPlante now has a phenomenal nine cashes for the series.  LaPlante is currently in third place in the WSOP player of the year points race.

Minnesotans have now earned $747,867 at this year's WSOP.

Ryan LaPlante earned his eighth cash of the series in Event 26  the $1,500 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better.  LaPante current sits in second place in the GPI WSOP Player of the Year race behind Jason Mercier.  Gennady Shimelfarb of Apple Valley earns his third cash of the series while Lex Nerenberg of Minnetonka earns his first.

Jonathan Kulkay of Dayton earns his first cash of the series finishing 137 of 1,419 in Event 23 the $2,000 no limit Hold'em.

MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 22 $1.5K Limit Hold'em

Gennady Shimelfarb and Ryan LaPlante placed 18th and 21st respectively in Event 22 the $1,500 Limit Hold'em event.  This is Shimelfarb's second cash of the series, and Ryan LaPlante's seventh cash.  LaPlante is making a serious run for the 2016 WSOP Player of the Year.

This raises the total earnings for Minnesota players at the 2016 WSOP to $621,912.

MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 20 and 21

No Minnesota players cashed in Event 20 the $10K Razz.  The same can be said for Event 21 the $3K 6-Handed NLHE.

The total earnings for Minnesota players at this year's WSOP remains at $610,498.

MN at 2016 WSOP - Event 19 $1K PLO

Jared Koppel of Minneapolis final tabled Event 19 a $1,000 pot limit Omaha event.  This Koppel's third cash of the series and first career WSOP final table.  Ryan Hartmann also cashed in this event.

This raises the total MN earnings to $610,498 for the series.
